4.24.2010 Update

What a beautiful day to preach the gospel!  Six men "surrounded" Main Street in Hartford today; one newcomer, Elisha, included!

No peculiar events today, but just lots of preaching and lots of tracts handed out.  We met with several who seemed bent on opposing our ministry, but we also met with several believers, some whom we were able to encourage in their Christian walk, others who encouraged us in the work we were doing.

The preaching occurred both at the Center Church sidewalk as well as at the Old State House.  I preached on "Now Is The Day of Salvation" and "Why Will Ye Die?"  Later, Harry preached in Spanish, then in English.  The guys down at the Center Church area had several rounds of preaching before we rejoined them and had another round of preaching with myself, Dave B. and Harry alternating.

Before we left, I was able to get a rare shot of all the guys involved today together with Samuel Stone in his eternal preaching pose.
