The banners have been a great asset to this ministry! I'm going to include some video from the last few weeks of us preaching with them. The video will be below. Today, we brought out the bigger banner, "Christ died for SIN-SINS-SINNNERS." It's visually striking, and people have a hard time ignoring it.
Today we bounced the preaching off of either side of Main Street in front of Center Church. Harry had the chance to talk to a man who had been saved, but needed some help. We had some opposition, too, but nothing out of the ordinary.
But the greatest blessing was when one young man came up to Harry as he was holding the banner, and started asking him about spiritual things. It turns out, he has had a background of religion and the bible, but had never personally accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Saviour. I took him aside and showed him through the scriptures of his need of salvation, God's solution, and how he could know he had eternal life. He told me that he didn't want to trust Christ for the wrong motives, that is, because he was afraid of hell. I told him that if he understood the reason he deserved hell, and was willing to accept God's gift to stay out of it-- then his fear of the Lord was the beginning of wisdom and not a bad motivator at all. He then told me he wanted to take care of it right there. We both knelt on the sidewalk, and he called on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to save him! Praise the Lord! We want to do some follow-up with him, and he may come out to church, so pray for his growth in the Lord. His name is Sean (I'm guessing on the spelling).
Thanks for all your prayers. This is just more fruit to your account.
GLORY TO GOD!
