Once again thousands of people lined the streets of Hartford for the St. Patrick's Day parade, and, once again, we were out there as able ministers of the new testament. Able--not of ourselves--by by the grace God has given us to do this ministry. We have no sufficiency in ourselves to do this, but our sufficiency is of God.
There were eleven men and a lady that labored with us today. As usual we pretty much depleted our supply of almost 2,000 tracts. All we had left to work with was the banners, scripture signs, and our voices, all of which we made good use of.
Several good conversations were had by most of us, and there was the usual ridicule and mockery. Regardless of the apparent outcome, the gospel was given to several thousand people by the tracts, signs and preaching. I've attached a few photos and a short video taken in the area where most of the preaching was done.
Thanks to those of you who came out to help us, and thanks to those of you who "stayed by the stuff" and prayed for us.
This page is a personal record of the street preaching ministry of First Bible Baptist Church, and is not maintained, monitored or manipulated by FBBC. Street preaching occurs on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month, and begins at 9am--give or take depending on when men's prayer meeting ends. Thanks to those of you who keep us and other ministry participants in your prayers. God bless you for your labour.
